The project expands an existing solar farm built by the town emigrant community, by adding batteries to store power, to cut diesel consumption. This is a simple project that does not need permits or technical specs, merely installing batteries to augment ability of existing solar farm to provide 24 hours of elecricity. It is also replicable and scalable as Toula can, in the future, provide power to surrounding villages that lack land or equipment.
