The Bachoura Public Library is the first such space launched by the Assabil Foundation in the aftermath of the Lebanese Civil War and has been in operation for the past 25 years. An active hub for the local community, the library receives 12,500 visits, lends 11,000 books and organizes over 200 events every year. Its operations are threatened by repeated power interruptions. This project aims to provide an integrated clean power source and A/C to enable continuous operation.
