At PAX, we serve as an intermediary that connects donors with high-impact public service initiatives across Lebanon. Our role is to facilitate meaningful connections while maintaining rigorous standards for accountability and transparency throughout the entire project lifecycle.
We actively oversee each stage, from initial concept to final closure, ensuring that:
- Projects are thoroughly vetted before being published
- Funds are disbursed in installments tied to verified milestones
- Progress is regularly documented and shared with donors
- Impact is measured and lessons are captured for future improvement
The Five Stages of Project Development

Stage 1: Concept
Idea is submitted and donors understand what project managers want to accomplish, who will benefit, and why it matters. The PAX team reviews, verifies the information, and assesses project viability. Once approved, project fundraising begins.
Stage 2: Proposal
Once fundraising reaches 75% of its fundraising goal, we move to Stage 2. Project managers create a detailed plan for project implementation – with clear milestones, budgets and timelines. Donors have the opportunity to ask questions and provide suggestions.
Stage 3: Execution
After a proposal is finalized and approved, the project advances to Stage 3 where planning become action. Projects come to life through careful implementation and regular reporting. This stage encompasses the full implementation of a – from procurement through completion, with built-in accountability measures throughout. As the PAX team conducts regular site visits to verify progress, donors receive regular updates, which allows them to track how their contributions are being used and what impact is being achieved.
Stage 4: Assessment
Once complete, a project moves to the next stage, Assessment. This stage is dedicated to measuring impact, gathering feedback, and documenting what worked (and what didn't) for the benefit of future projects. This is where accountability meets learning. Project managers submit a comprehensive final report, viewable by project donors who can gain a better understanding of what was accomplished with their support.
Stage 5: Completion
After assessment is complete, the project enters the final Closure stage for formal conclusion, with full documentation and an impact analysis. This stage provides a complete record of the project's journey and outcomes, ensuring that knowledge gained benefits the broader community and future initiatives.
